A large construction company in the region has several new projects.

Among the projects includes large scale housing and related infrastructure.

The following positions need to be filled urgently;

Roads Engineers

(3 Positions)


The Roads Engineers will be responsible to the Project Manager.

Requirements
  • BSc. Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Registered with the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya.
  • Proven record of at least 10 years in the design and construction of urban and rural roads with a reputable company.
  • Conversant with road design CAD/AUTOCAD software.
  • Flexibility to varying working hours.
Quantity Surveyors

(3 Positions)


The Quantity Surveyors will be responsible to the Project Manager and the Chief Quantity Surveyor.

Requirements
  • Degree in Building Economics.
  • Proven record of at least 10 years of which 4 years should be specific to roads in a reputable organisation.
  • Be a registered I.Q.S.K member.
  • Experience in greater East Africa road projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of PRINCE 2 Model will be an added advantage.
  • Flexibility to varying working hours.
Chief Surveyor

(1 Position)


The Chief Surveyor will be responsible to the Project Manager.

Requirements
  • BSc. Degree in Surveying.
  • Proven record of at least 10 years of which 3 years should be specific to asphalt roads.
  • Be a registered I.S.K member.
  • Proven track record of managing a team of surveyors.
  • Flexibility to varying working hours.
Surveyors

(3 Positions)


The Surveyors will be responsible to the Chief Surveyor.

Requirements
  • BSc. Degree in Surveying.
  • Proven record of at least 5 years of which. Experience in asphalt roads is an added advantage.
  • Experience in the provision of geodetic controls using Total Station, RTK and auto levels.
  • Flexibility to varying working hours.
Site Engineer

(1 Position)


The Site Engineer will be responsible to the Chief Engineer

Requirements
  • BSc. Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 7 years hands on experience in large civil engineering projects. Experience in large concrete works is required.
  • Excellent management and communication skills.
  • Conversant with FIDIC contracts.
  • Flexibility to varying working hours.
