- Degree in mass communication, Journalism or related field
- Mean grade of B and above with B+ in both English and Kiswahili
- Should have a minimum of 2 years experience in a busy sport related environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Should have passion and knowledge in football
Responsibilities
- Editorial meetings where he meets with the sports editor to discuss assignments, due dates and publishing schedules
- To perform extensive research, conduct interviews and attend events they are covering such as games, tournaments and press conferences
- He will be required to write articles for publications or scripts for broadcasts.
- Ability to network with sports figures athletes and other relevant stakeholders and to brainstorm creative ideas for future issues or presentations
- Updating the sports blog on a daily basis
