Due to increased workload, a vacancy for an accounts assistant has been created to deputize the accountant.
The required qualifications are as follows
Duties & Responsibilities- Take up an assistant role for the overall accountant
- Answering queries regarding work being performed
- Prepare and analyze on regular basis, plans, budgetary estimates and provide explanations on variances.
- Ensuring filling is done in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconciling the bank accounts
- Ensuring purchase order, receiving and invoices are matched
- Submit VAT, PAYE, and Corporate Tax returns
- General Administration duties
- Financial records management,
- Handling payroll
Academic
- CPA part 2 and above ( or its Equivalent)
- At least 2 years working experience in a busy finance department in a similar capacity
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Good accounting knowledge
- Knowledge and hands – on use of Sage Pastel will be an added advantage
- Degree from a recognized university will be an added advantage
