Title: Production Clerk
Overall Purpose of the Job: Checking all work orders are completed and goods transferred to the respective warehouse within the required time; reconciling reports on inventory to ensure all posted work is correct
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Daily fresh production stock reconciliation
- Supervise transfer of all finished goods from production to Finished Goods Store
- Generation of transfer orders
- Inventory management
- Production data
To ensure thorough understanding of the Quality and food safety policy.
Ensure thorough understanding of GHPs and GMPs
Key Accountabilities & Standards of Performance
a) Stock Reconciliation
SOP - Confirmation of raw materials usage against set yield ; Confirmation of Packaging materials usage and account for any variances per shift and maintain packaging material clean and organized & Confirmation of quantity and transfer of packaging materials from p/materials store to production for usage; Provide daily reconciliation report to ensure physical and system stock tally and where there is a variance note reasons for variance provided

b) Generation of Transfer Orders
SOP – Daily recording & confirmation of quantity and batch of product to be transferred to store & ensure reconciliation of physical and system stock after transfers; Ensure stock take variances are investigated and report provided to the relevant persons root cause analysis

c) Production Data
SOP- Ensure all production data are well kept and entered correctly; Make sure stocks on the production floor are well controlled; Give stock of raw materials, packaging and finished goods on the production floor ; to make sure all the work done is posted in the system

d) Product Repack
SOP- Responsible of all repacks of products with damaged packaging materials from the market

e) Health, Safety and Environment
SOP - Familiarization with and observation of general and safety regulations, related to the Machine & work towards achievement of zero incidents and accidents

Knowledge and skills
- Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry or any business related field.
- Minimum three (3) year experience in a similar role in a manufacturing entity
- Qualification in Accounting
- Experience working with an ERP system is an added advantage
Salary is ksh 21k-36k per month.
