Product Manager / Brand Manager
A Multinational corporation with a track record of outstanding achievements is seeking for a Product Manager for its fast moving consumer goods business.
The candidate should have product / brand management experience in reputed consumer packaged goods organization for minimum 4 - 5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for execution of the Marketing Plan in the key markets
- Coordinate with the sales team and the agency on a regular basis to execute the marketing programs decided
- Maintaining Advertising & Sales promotion tracker on a monthly basis in order to track spends against approved budget (Budget tracking).
- Hire and manage vendors like printing, ground level activation, etc. for execution of day to day jobs
- Effectively work with external agency partners to ensure high quality & timely production of all approved communication development work – Different creative elements - e.g. different POP’s, Press ads, Secondary displays and other forms of Retail Communication, etc.
- Maintain all marketing MIS
- Tracking competition, on a regular basis.
- To visit the markets periodically for honing market understanding and evaluating the impact of the marketing initiatives and recommending corrective actions, if any
- Work closely with the sales team to negotiate and implement In-Store marketing activations. Also ensure optimum visibility through POP’s and secondary displays. Set merchandising guidelines
- Work on NPD projects - Packaging
- Qualitative report writing skills
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in reputed consumer packaged goods organizations managing brands
- Outstanding experience in top tier advertising agencies in brand management can also be considered
- Strong in Ground level execution, but with complementary analytical skills
- Qualification: PGD or MBA with specialization in Marketing
- 5/6 year’s experience in FMCG (product/brand management)
- Ready to travel on as needed basis
- Languages: English, Local
- Should be very well versed with MS word, MS excel, MS PowerPoint
