Job Summary: The candidate will be expected to manage the Motor Vehicle Repair/Service of Mercedes Benz engines e.g. Actros trucks, Scania truck engines and tanker trailers, engine repairs and differentials and ensure efficiency at all times.

- Streamline workshop operations while ensuring standards of operation and compliance to legal requirements
- Supervise employees in the workshop and provide leadership and training to all workshop staff
- Review job card orders so as to ensure that all actions have been documented and acted upon accordingly
- Conduct commercial negotiations with Spare parts suppliers and ensure spare parts meet the required quality standards
- Motor vehicle maintenance scheduling
- Ensure that a safe and clean working environment is maintained at all times in the workshop
- Ensure cost effective procurement of spare parts and maintain accurate inventory records for the same
- Vet spare parts suppliers and ensure spares supplied are of high quality
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Automotive engineering or vehicle mechanic
- 5 years working experience, working in a vehicle garage in similar position.
- Experience servicing/repairing Mercedes Benz engines e.g Actros trucks, Scania truck engines and tanker trailers is a MUST.
- Excellent computer skills

- Excellent supervisory skills
