Vacancy: Driver Training Instructor

An opportunity for an instructor is available at a leading training institution.

The instructor will be responsible:

• To prepare Defensive driver courses tailored to our Customer’s needs
• To plan and co-ordinate all of our Customer’s training requirements
• To deliver training to Drivers at Customer depots within Kenya.
• Be responsible for coordinating driver training programs
• Be responsible for maintaining all of the training records, policies and procedures

The successful applicant will have the correct skills and experience as follows:

• Age  35 – 55 years
• Holder of a full Heavy Commercial driver’s Licence desirable
• Hold suitable training qualifications
• Experience of delivering classroom tutorials and in cab driver assessment and training
• Have occupational experience within the Transport Industry as an articulated truck driver
• Have excellent organizational skills
• Have good communication and IT skills to prepare power point presentations and training reports
• Be self-motivated, have an outgoing personality and have the ability to work on their own initiative.
