Profile Introduction: Our client is a leading East African Investment company listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange and cross-listed on the Uganda Securities Exchange and seeks to recruit an Operations Manager for their new venture in distribution of beverages
The overall purpose of the role is: Administration of warehouse, logistics, systems and planning to create the highest level of efficiency and maximize profit for the organisation
Minimum Requirements
- 3-4 years sales services and operations background in an FMCG environment
- Bachelors degree or Higher Diploma in sales and marketing qualification an added advantage
- Diploma in sales and marketing.
Job Specification
- Managing stock in the warehouses as per the set standards
- Managing truck turnaround time together with managing loading accuracy and timely dispatch
- Ensure all licensing requirements are up to date
- Outlet/customer database management
- Ensuring all orders are delivered on time and in full
- Cost effective leasing and effective fleet utilization
- Formulating and updating route plans
- Formulate RTM strategy- (Distribution & Warehousing Element)
