Duties
- Develop project plans and avail them to partners in required format(s)
- Coordinate project related DRR activities, reports, formats and requirements for clear understanding by all parties
- Carry out research and knowledge development in the field of DRR .
- Regular field assessments, conduct trainings on emergency preparedness and response.
- Conduct DRR community outreach and mobilization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Community Development or related field (Masters degree in DRR or Natural Resources Management preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years work experience in the field of DRR
- Experience in research, documented record of publication in the field of DRR preferred
- Fluency in English and Swahili
- Excellent Inter personal skills
- Ability to work in multi –cultural settings
- Flexible and able to work within short deadlines
- Experience with Christian/church-based NGOs
- Computer skills including MS Office, power point, and excel
- High integrity and commitment to biblical Christian values and truths
