Description
- Support the project manager in day to day management of the nutrition of nutrition project
- In liaison with PRRO nutritionist and DNO support the implementation of supplementary feeding program
- Coordinate systematic delivery of health and nutrition education messages to the community
- In liaison with MoH develop health and nutrition messages and ensure IEC materials are available for the mentoring team
- Support integration of infant and young child feeding to management of acute malnutrition program
- Support in coordination of all field logistical operations for the program.
- Participate in staff recruitment and regular training of the project staff on nutrition
- Coordinate outreach services offering comprehensive package by MoH/WVK/partners health staff in hard to reach areas
- Streamline and motivate community mobilization structures
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in nutrition/nursing or Higher Diploma in Public Health with specialization in community nutrition
- Must be registered with the relevant professional body
- At least 3 years working experience of management of malnutrition in emergency contexts.
- Good knowledge of underlying causes of malnutrition in both emergency and development contexts.
- Competence in analytical computer software data analysis, writing and communication skills.
