Purpose of the position:
To conduct mechanical repairs of the equipments and work together with the other drilling crew to drill/rehabilitate boreholes in accordance to WVK, WRMA,NEMA, and other stakeholders standards, in order to facilitate provision of potable water for household livelihoods, thus contributing to the attainment of child well being outcomes
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
- Grade 1 certificate in Mechanics or Technician diploma in Automotive Engineering from a recognized institute,
- At least 8 years experience in repairs and maintenance of diesel engine vehicles.
- At least 2 years experience in drilling work.
- Valid BCE class driving license and at least 3 years experience in driving Lorries, buses or rigs.
- Good team player, self starter, has ability to work under minimum supervision and maintain good relationships
