Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Legal Officer, the Intern will:
  • Assisting Legal Officer with drafting of all legal correspondences and documents for clients on behalf of WRAP.
  • Filing documents that are related to legal matters on behalf of WRAP Clients
  • Be involved in court attendance and attending to clients who come to WRAP in search of legal aid and advice.
  • Undertaking arbitration/reconciliation and mediations when need arises

Skills, Experience & Academic Qualifications:

Functional Responsibilities

UNOPS is currently looking for one intern to join the Africa Regional sub-Office (AFO) in Nairobi, Kenya. AFO manages a geographically-defined portfolio of engagements, including leading strategy and business development for the region, overseeing management of operations, and ensuring appropriate risk management.

  • Must be willing to dedicate at least 6 hours daily
Skills Desired
 
For you to be considered;
 
1. You must be strong in Java and its libraries, PHP, C#, Python and or PHP frameworks like codeigniter, Yii, cake php.
 
2. You have demonstrated skills in these programming languages in the form of any completed application.
 
N/B
 
1. We need those who will be reporting to the office as normal employees when required.
 
2. You need to have your own working Laptop.
 
3. Sometimes we may require people to work from homes so personal computer or laptop is a MUST.

Remuneration
 
We will offer an allowance  of Ksh.5,000 monthly. 

If you prove to have exceptional skills, you will be given a better offer immediately.
