Vacancy: Area Director of Finance & Business Support –
Africa
Directly Reports To: VP Finance and Business Support - Middle East & Africa (MEA)
Indirectly Reports To: Director of Operations - Africa
The incumbent, as the lead financial business partner for the hotels in the
Africa Region & InterContinental Nairobi will collaborate with the hotels
to develop and execute a combined finance strategy that leverages scale across
the hotels.
Interact with respective hotel’s legal counsel, insurance companies, tax
consultants, auditors, commercial and government banks to effectively control
the assets of the business and to provide business support.
They will provide functional guidance to local Finance & Business Support
Managers; Executive Committee and Department Heads and act as a catalyst for
organizational change, employee engagement and financial process management.
Previous international experience with global corporations will be an added
advantage. The role requires frequent travel & the incumbent should have
the flexibility to be based in any of our hotel properties regionally.
