We are looking for a motivated team player to take up the position of Assistant Security Manager to support the Somalia Security Manager in the implementation and management of Organisational policies / procedures in our field and Nairobi Offices.

We are looking for a motivated team player to take up the position of Assistant Security Manager to support the Somalia Security Manager in the implementation and management of Organisational policies / procedures in our field and Nairobi Offices.
Some of the key responsibilities in brief will include:
- Preparation and delivery of high quality reports, analysis and security alerts both verbal and written.
- Develop and deliver innovative security trainings for Somalia/Somaliland staff in the field and Nairobi Office.
- Assist the Security Manager in Somalia/Somaliland incident response procedures.
- Brief visitors, equip, track, update and on occasion escort them.
- In the field SC operates a large number of staff that move between multiple locations through varying threat environments.
- Deputise the Security Manager while he is on leave or field trips.
Person
Specification
- 1st Degree or High Diploma in a related field.
- At least 2 years working experience in the field in the area of Somalia security.
- Ability and willingness to travel within Kenya, Somaliland and Puntland essential.
- Acknowledged international qualifications in NGO security training
- The ability to work harmoniously in a multi-national / multicultural environment.
- The ability to work independently, conduct concurrent activities without supervision.
