Distributors Wanted

East African Breweries Limited (EABL) is East Africa’s leading branded alcohol beverage business and has an outstanding collection of beers and spirits brands.

With breweries, distilleries, support industries and a distribution network across the East Africa region, the EABL group’s diversity is an important factor in delivering the highest quality brands to East African consumers.

EABL has opportunities for additional Beer and Spirit distributors in Kenya.

The requirements for beer and spirits distributors are:

1. Ability to obtain an appropriate bank guarantee of Kshs.50 Million.
2. Ability to raise appropriate start-up capital of between Kshs.40—45 million.
3. Ability to avail distribution vehicles with adequate carrying capacity as stipulated by EABL.
4. Appropriately located warehouse facility comprising a minimum of 4,500 square feet.
5. Entrepreneurs fully committed to managing the business directly with a hands on approach through the foreseeable future.
6. Entrepreneurs with passion for high performance and growth.
7. Entrepreneurs who are dedicated to high customer service standards and strong business relationship.
8. Entrepreneurs with strong sales or general business expertise, including door-to- door selling.

1. Application letter, clearly indicating the market (area/region?) of interest, working capital and level of bank guarantee available.
2. Copy of Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association and PIN Certificate of the Applicant.
3. Business case, illustrating ability to tap full potential in the market (area/region?) of interest.
