- Registered for PhD degree and shown satisfactory progress (Completed at least 50% of the core chapters approved by the supervisors).
- Presented at least three (3) seminar papers or two publications in refereed journals or a university level book by reputable publisher.
- Must have full time university teaching experience as Tutorial Fellow or Assistant Lecturer for at least three (3) years.

Terms of service for the posts include a competitive basic salary, house allowance, and medical cover, life Insurance commuting allowance and membership to a pension scheme.
