1. Business Lecturer – Purchasing and Supplies Management

(1 Position)

Key Responsibilities

Among other duties, he/she will be responsible for:

• Teaching at degree level in the areas allocated by the Head of School and as reviewed from time to time
• preparing lecture notes
• evaluating the outcomes of individual learning through formal assessments or informal methods and constructive ensuring feedback is given
• ensuring the subject course outline is sufficiently covered
• participating in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• A minimum of a Masters degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management or any other relevant qualification from a recognized university.
• A first degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, or any other related course from a recognized university.
• Those with professional qualification in purchasing and supplies will be given priority.
• A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar position.
• A strong team player
• Self driven
• Should have a passion for teaching

2. Business Lecturer

(1 Position)

Key Responsibilities

Among other duties, he/she will be responsible for:

• Teaching at degree level in the areas allocated by the Head of School and as reviewed from time to time

• evaluating the outcomes of individual learning through formal assessments or informal methods and constructive ensuring feedback is given

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• A minimum of a MBA degree in Strategic Management or Human Resources, or any other relevant qualification from a recognized university.
• A first degree in Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Education specializing in business, or any other related course from a recognized university.
• A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar position.
• A strong team player
• Self driven
• Should have a passion for teaching

3. Lecturer in Information Technology

(2 Positions)

Key Responsibilities

Among other duties, he/she will be responsible for:

• Teaching at degree level in the areas allocated by the Head of School and as reviewed from time to time
• preparing lecture notes
• evaluating the outcomes of individual learning through formal assessments or informal methods and constructive ensuring feedback is given
• ensuring the subject course outline is sufficiently covered
• participating in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• A minimum of an Msc. Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science degree from a recognized university
• A first degree in IT or related course from a recognized university.
• A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar position.
• A strong team player
• Self driven
• Should have a passion for teaching

4. Lecturer, Media Studies

(1 Position)

Key Responsibilities

Among other duties, he/she will be responsible for:

• Teaching at degree level in the areas allocated by the Head of School and as reviewed from time to time
• preparing lecture notes
• evaluating the outcomes of individual learning through formal assessments or informal methods and constructive ensuring feedback is given
• ensuring the subject course outline is sufficiently covered
• participating in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments
• Mentor the students in their line of studies

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• A minimum of a Masters degree in Communication Studies, Public Relations, or other relevant area from a recognized university.
• A first degree in Media Studies (broadcast option) or related course from a recognized university which should have covered media graphic design.
• A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar position.
• A strong team player
• Self driven
• Should be able to comfortably teach digital graphic and design

Reporting to the Business Manager, he/she will, among other duties, be responsible for:

• Positively represent and promote Zetech College as an organization to external agencies;
• Monitoring the covering of the college’s events and campaigns and make recommendations for increased and improved media coverage;
• Developing photo diaries of Zetech College activities as required;
• Disseminating Zetech College publications widely to stakeholders;
• Overseeing the development and implementation of publicity initiatives;
• Overseeing the development and implementation of electronic media marketing materials and campaigns.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The desired candidate must:

• Have a minimum of a Bachelor degree in Communication, Journalism or Public Relations from a recognized university;
• Those with a bachelors degree in business and postgraduate diploma in communications or public relations will also be considered;
• Have a minimum of B in K.C.S.E;
• Have excellent analytical and people skills;
• Be computer literate with skills in Ms office Suite and internet;
• Be proactive and a self starter;
• Be a strong team player.
• Those with at least 6 months working experience in the same area will have an added advantage.
