Main Purpose of the Job
- To develop and implement financial and administrative policies based on the overall company objectives, goals and targets and ensure compliance with the relevant local regulations.
- Manage approved budget in accordance with company financial policy regulations
- Manage accounts receivables and accounts portfolios
- Manage finance functions.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor and control the company’s annual operating budget, to ensure financial targets are met and the financial statutory obligations are complied with
- Maintain reliable and accurate accounting records for the company and produce management accounts, as necessary to facilitate effective management of the company
- Ensure consolidation of accounts on a monthly basis will include review of the data entered into the accounting system
- Prepare and submit the company financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately on time
- Develop and implement an internal and external audit programme to ensure that the company complies with the financial procedures and regulations
- Produce regular analyses of income and expenditure to assist Distrubutor in the budget monitoring process
- Attend management meetings and present the necessary departmental issues for discussion
- Monitor debt age on a weekly basis and liaise with the banks accordingly
- Review the working capital position and advise the management accordingly.
- Carry out reconciliation of stock, debtors accounts and bank statements
- Ensure that the company’s Management information system is comprehensive, accurate and up to date regularly including electronic and manual documentation and records system
- Ensure that there is an up to date assets register
- Ensure that the expenditure vouchers are properly sanctioned and backed by supporting documents
- Ensure reconciliation of the manual records of debtors, creditors, contingency and all other liability accounts with the computer records, and follow up errors if any.
- Prepare and submit timely reports as required by management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance and /or Accounts or equivalent
- CPA K.
- 5 years working experience in a very competitive business environment at senior management level
- Membership to the relevant professional bodies
Salary and Benefits
- Kshs 120,000 net
- Accommodation shall be provided
- Transport to and from office shall be provided (not a self drive car),
- Medical insurance cover with NHIF,
- Airtime of 50,000 per month
- Annual leave after 11 months and Cost of work permit borne by company
