We are based in Nairobi and we urgently require a Stores Officer. Reporting to the Commercial Manager.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBLITIES
• Maintaining proper security and safe custody of all company trading assets/stores at all times.
• Ensuring goods delivered are of required quality, quantity and price and confirming that they match with the customer's LPO.
• Raising GRN of all received goods and ensuring they are neatly placed in the store and recorded in their respective stock cards.
• Issuing of materials from the store upon receipt of an authorized requisition. Ensuring all issued goods are entered in the issuing ledger and stock cards and is duly signed by receiving person.
• Accurately and daily updating of Stock/Bin Cards, clearly inputting issued, received and balance of goods available.
• Monitoring stock levels by setting minimum quantity levels and initiating stock replenishment. Facilitate monthly stock take with assigned personnel from Accounts Department.
• Preparing and updating a Stock Movement Report and submitting it monthly to the Department Head.
• Keeping track of material requisitions for respective project/customer until completion of supplies.

• Assist in setting up and evaluating lead times for effective stock levels
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• A degree / diploma in purchasing and supplies or a related course
• Minimum 2 Years relevant working experience in a busy environment
• Practical and relevant knowledge of various computer and accounting applications e.g. QuickBooks.
