DEA seeks to recruit a suitable candidate to fill in the following position;
Admin Assistant/Personal Assistant to the Director
Based at the Regional Office in Nairobi.
Job Summary.
Under the supervision of the logistics/admin officer, the admin assistant will be responsible for making travel arrangements, assisting the director and maintaining the organization’s database of important documents.

Job Summary.
Under the supervision of the logistics/admin officer, the admin assistant will be responsible for making travel arrangements, assisting the director and maintaining the organization’s database of important documents.
Key Responsibilities.
- Flight/Accommodation booking.
- Arrange for the transport of staff and visitors within the country.
- Arrange for visa and other travel documents for the staff members.
- Manage the DEA library.
- Maintain Organization’s database of important project documents.
- Assistant to the director – receiving phone calls, drafting letters printing/scanning/binding documents.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- University degree in the relevant field.
- At least two years working experience preferably with INGO.
- Excellent communication skills, with good spoken and written English is a requirement while good knowledge of French, German or Portuguese is an asset.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer applications including database programs, MS – Office & Email/Internet.
- Excellent driving skills with more than two years driving experience.
