The Job:
The Salesmen/Ladies will be required to do van selling and distribution of our products to customers under the supervision and management of a territory Sales Representative to ensure products are in the market all the times.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Distribute and invoice company products to current and potential customers as per the prevailing price list.
· Identify sales prospects and contact of these and other accounts as assigned.
· Prepare a variety of status and route sales reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
· Receiving and Verifying stocks as well as loading products on and off at the distribution into the vehicles.
· Collect relevant Intelligent Market Information and revert to the immediate supervisor.
· Processing of sales orders, reconciliation of records for the day.
· Collection of crates from the outlets.
· Liaising with the sales Representatives.
· Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of a Diploma in Sales and Marketing from a recognized institution or its equivalent.
· Minimum of 3 years experience in selling fast moving consumer goods with proven sales skills.
· Minimum of three years driving experience (Class B.C.E)
Essential skills will include:
· Self motivated with superior communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
· Strong attention to detail and integrity.
· Certificate of good conduct (up to date).
· Ability to work in a team or autonomously
· Strong understanding of customer/market dynamics and requirements.
· Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Computer literacy and familiarity with standard office computer applications.
· Ability to dress appropriately in a way that shows credibility and professionalism.
