Rights Facilitators’ and Participants’ Manuals
Introduction
Zinduka Afrika (ZAF) was registered in 2004 as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Kenya. ZAF’s vision is to ensure people live quality and dignified lives.
The Organization intends engage an expert for a period of seven(7) working days to develop and produce participants’ and facilitators’ training manuals to be utilized during structured trainings on ECOSOC Rights among the marginalized( women, youth and people with disability) populations in the informal settlements of Nairobi with an emphasis on Embakasi and Makadara Districts.
The manuals are meant to assets the organization to conduct structured trainings with the goal of increasing citizens’ awareness and engagement on Human Rights particularly ECOSOC rights in the informal settlements of Nairobi; Makadara and Embakasi Districts.

- Develop and publish five( 5) facilitators and 1,450 participants manuals which will enable this project meets its goal
- The work will be completed within seven ( 7) working days
Qualifications:
The qualified person must have a registered research firm which has been in existence for at least three years and task of developing and publishing – ECOSOC manuals for at least three years.
The lead Consultant must have at least a Masters Degree in the Social sciences or other humanities degree(s)
He/she must have understanding in Economic, Social and Cultural Rights as stipulated in the International Covenants, and the Kenya Constitution
Process of Application
Applicants should send a cover letter explaining their suitability for the post, Curriculum Vitae, including the names and addresses of three referees, and copies of academic certificates.
A profile of the previous similar manuals they have produced and the contacts of institutions they have developed such manuals for.
A maximum three page proposal with a budget showing cost, activities and timelines on how the work will be conducted.
