The company is looking for an energetic East African to fill the position of Operations Manager in the Uganda Country office.
The Role:
Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager will mainly work as a catalyst for business development and efficiency, ensuring that all operational tasks are successfully executed in the Kampala office.
The incumbent will also have overall responsibility on the country office, ensuring that the business targets are met consistently.

Responsibilities
- Assure that all operational tasks are executed
- Has responsibility for increasing business in the country office
- Proactively identify gaps, develop and propose solutions, take corrective actions
- Give leadership to the country office staff to ensure the business meets client requirements satisfactorily
- Provide support, coaching and practical advice
- Act as catalyst for effectiveness and efficiency throughout the company
Hard
skills
- At least 3 years business development experience. Technical sales experience will be a definite advantage
- At least 3 years operations experience.
- At least 2 years of managing teams of a minimum of 3 people
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Bachelor degree in commerce (marketing option)
- Strong skills in the use of MS office
Soft
skills
- Diligent, detailed and reliable
- Good communicator
- Good people skills
- Ability to manage people
- Proactive, result-oriented and high energy person
