A medium sized firm with headquarters in Nairobi is looking to hire an accounts assistant to be based in Mombasa and who is able to handle admin and accounting entry level duties.

Our client is looking to hire a mature, results oriented and self motivated candidate.

This job is based in Mombasa.

Accounting Roles
  • Preparing cheques
  • Creating budgets
  • Calculating billing statements
  • Preparing and submitting tax forms
  • Compiling financial records
  • Managing inventory records
  • Processes all A/R invoices
  • Responsible for reconciliation of invoice subledger control accounts
  • Process expense forms
  • Manage petty cash
Administrative Roles
  • Answering the telephone
  • Filing
  • Faxing
  • Assisting visitors
  • Managing appointments
  • Managing the office
  • Supervising other staff members
  • Maintain file system
  • Distributes all incoming and out going mail
Skills and Attributes
  • Previous experience in an Accounts office.
  • Strong Microsoft and Excel skills
  • Good organisation and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask & to meet deadlines independently
Expected Salary 25-30K Gross.
