Title: Driver
Basic Function: The person in this position will be responsible for providing reliable and safe transportation support to staff members, and also doing delivery and collection errands as per the office operations.

Basic Function: The person in this position will be responsible for providing reliable and safe transportation support to staff members, and also doing delivery and collection errands as per the office operations.
Principal Accountabilities:
Delivery and Postage
- He will assist in daily messenger tasks i.e. delivery office equipment and material to clients and collection of the same from suppliers, facilitating postage of mail.
Administrative Tasks
- Transportation of staff on office duties as may be required.
- Assisting in daily related administrative tasks as required by the Directors.
Maintenance of company vehicle
- Update the log book of vehicle use on daily basis for proper recording of mileage.
- Check safety of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness on daily basis.
- Report periodic servicing needs of the vehicle in advance to ensure its proper handling.
- Ensure that the vehicle is clean all the time.
- Ensure safe keeping of vehicle accessories e.g., Jack, first aid kit, etc.
- Ensure that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in an accident.
Skills & Experience
- Should posses a valid driver’s license and a certificate of good conduct.
- At least five (5) years’ work experience as a driver, with a safe driving record.
- Possess high level of integrity and proven qualification in safe driving.
- Should have demonstrated ability & maturity to work with others.
- High school education minimum
- Good communication skills especially English and Swahili.
- Good Knowledge of the country map and routes.
- Courtesy to road users, staff & clients.
