A
leading construction company in the region is seeking to recruit for the
position of senior projects manager, who
will be responsible for ensuring end to end successful delivery of the
company’s services to clients, ensuring outcomes that are high quality,
innovative and user friendly.
The successful job holder will primarily be based in Nairobi, with frequent travel within the region depending on job requirements.
Reporting to the General Manager, the candidate will have the overall responsibility of promoting and developing effective service to clients.
The job holder will also be accountable for the projects team.

Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and managing projects ensuring that they are delivered on time and on budget.
- Assessing client needs and relevance of specifications
- Ensuring that key decisions are made within the program guidelines and timelines;
- Overall client relationship management
- Providing regular briefings on status of projects to management
- Maintaining professionalism, delivering service, being available at all times while ensuring the company’s quality standards are met.
The
successful job holder will hold a degree in building / civil construction and a
minimum of 10 years work experience in a busy construction company or QS firm
with a successful record and references of the same. Experience in Interior
construction will be an added advantage.
