Finance / Accounts Officer

Location: Nairobi

An International Retail Imaging Solutions Company specializing in Integrated Brand Marketing Communication, including Design, Point of Purchase, Visual Merchandising, Signage, Store roll outs and Project Management has established presence in Kenya and is looking to recruit a Finance /Accounts Officer.

The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in Accounting function including hands on experience with cross border taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and the allocation of accounting duties.
• Preparing and finalizing Annual Accounts.
• Handling statutory remittances and Tax Auditors.
• Handling Income Tax scrutiny matters.
• Handling the costing of products.
• Interaction with bankers for finance and other requirements.
• Develop MIS reporting.
• Inter-company reconciliations.

Qualifications / Skills

• Either Finance/Accounting related degree/ CPA K or ACCA
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in the area of Accounting, Banking, Direct and Indirect Taxation & Costing.
• Experience in Accounts Finalisation, Income Tax Scrutiny.
• Outstanding verbal & written communication skills
• Effectiveness in a cross cultural environment.
• Excellent Leadership and negotiation skills.
• Good working knowledge of SAP/Tally.
• Knowledge of other ERP systems will be an added advantage.
