Identification and Vetting of Committed Women Political Aspirants
Centre
for Rights Education and Awareness (CREAW) invites applications from female
political aspirants seeking technical support and are vying for Presidential,
Parliamentary, Governor, Senator, County Assembly and County Women
Representative positions in the following counties: Nairobi, Meru, Nakuru,
Nyeri, Kiambu, Mombasa, Kisii, Tharaka niithi, Machakos, Kajiado, Makueni and
Kakamega.

Vision seeks a just and free society in which women and men exercise equal and
full rights and opportunities, and our Mission is to transform the Kenyan
society through the promotion and expansion of women’s human rights, rule of
law and social justice.
Rationale for the Call
CREAW is currently implementing projects that seek to increase women’s political representation by articulating and presenting socio economic and political agendas of women in decision-making arenas such as Presidential, Parliamentary, Governor, Senator, County Assembly and County Women Representative positions.

CREAW is currently implementing projects that seek to increase women’s political representation by articulating and presenting socio economic and political agendas of women in decision-making arenas such as Presidential, Parliamentary, Governor, Senator, County Assembly and County Women Representative positions.
We
aim to achieve this by promoting women’s political participation by building
the skills of women aspirants in leadership, good governance and electoral
process.
We
envision that such women who successfully transition into the above spaces will
elevate the concerns of grassroots women, promote their interests at each level
and lobby for various county and national legislations, policies and programs
for the advancement of women.
Eligibility
CREAW
is looking for aspirants who have proof of political interest in their
respective counties for the positions aforementioned, expertise, and track
record of political achievements.
Applicants
should draft a 1 page motivational statement indicating their details, position
vied for, electoral region, political parties and inspiration, educational
background, sources of funding and campaign strategies or download an
