run a website that provides various kinds of information about Kenya.
We're looking for creative writers, journalists, authors, journalism students, researchers of information and anyone who is creative and can write very well to do extensive research to develop the content that we need.
Currently we need well researched, well-written, one and half to two page articles about each of the 47 counties of Kenya.

Currently we need well researched, well-written, one and half to two page articles about each of the 47 counties of Kenya.
The
article should include, but not limited to:
- a short profile (introduction) about each county
- its geographical positioning in Kenya
- county highlights - what happens there? what is the county renowned for?
- who lives in that county? tribes? people?
- sights, places, attractions - talk about some towns in the county?
- new developments in the county?
- some interesting facts about the county?
- Any other relevant information worth noting about the county?
This
is not just an article writing project, but we are looking for originality,
depth and substance on each article that fully addresses the subject at hand.
Imagine yourself as one of the readers of the article. What would you be
looking to find about that topic?
Each
article should be well balanced, informative and truly fulfill the reader's
desires - no bias, politics or propaganda. In other words keep it real while
aiming to provide VALUE.
The information should be presented in a down to earth format and written with love, pride, respect and passion for our people and our country. Each article should be simple enough to connect with the reader and provide a unique perspective compared to similar articles on the web.
The writer should be willing to do extensive research from credible sources, or physically, in order to come up with a credible and informative content.
We will pay between US$15-$20 per article based on it's quality and presentation.
And because a picture says a thousands words, we are willing to pay upto US$5 more, if the article is accompanied by images/pics/video clips that complement the content.
