Timely
collection of correct due instalments from clients by means of debit
order activations on various bank accounts.
Required
Minimum Education / Training
- BCom degree or related degree, Strong Operations background essential (National basis) minimum 5 years
Required
Minimum Work Experience
Min 2 years banking or financial industry experience, Experience in Credit Management desirable

1. Collections of payments, activations and re-activations

- Activate debit orders against client’s bank accounts to ensure that the correct payment amount is collected on the correct payment date.
- Draw reports to determine outstanding instalments of clients and ensure that amounts due are collected by means of debit order activations.
- Reverse wrongfully debited payments against client\s account by reversing and refunding client.
- Make a note on the system on why refund was authorised.
- Pay out approved client loan amount or settlement amount from bank accounts.
- Analyse reasons for repeated failure to collect via debit order, pursue alternate collections method to normalise account
- Reconciliation of debits orders loaded with successful payments received
- Identify reversal of successful payments and update system
