Head of Technical and Logistic Activity (T&L)
Based in Dagahaley Refugee Camp
The selected candidate will be reporting to the Logistic Team Leader. He/she will be responsible in Supervising all the technical project (construction, EHA, Supply, energy, cold chain, WHS, security, fleet management, MSF premises, logistic hospital/health post) and propose a plan of action to the coordination team to improve the quality of Logistics activities in Dagahaley Refugee camp.
He/she
will be responsible of managing the logistic human resources (+- 200
employees).
Main Tasks include but not limited to:
- Supervision of the technical project (construction, EHA, Supply, energy, cold chain, WHS, security, fleet management, MSF premises, logistic hospital/health post) and propose a plan of action to the coordination team.
- Direct supervision of the Log Base, supply officer, Log hospital, log health post and log constructor. Overall management of a team of more or less 200 staff members.
- In absence of the LTL, he/she will be the main responsible of logistics, reporting directly to the Logco and to the FC in operations.
- Reporting directly to LTL.
Requirements:
- Degree/certificate in Engineering or other field related
- 2-3 years working experience in logistic in managerial position.
- Previous experience in managing large teams (at least 50 people) in a developing country. Know technical tools related to this activity.
- Able to work indepently/alone without supervisor. Able to take decision and propose new ideas.
- Define the technical working methodology, and he/she in coordination with the LTL, proposing technical/management support from Nairobi.
- Participate in the annual plan and bringing proposals.
- Fluency in Somalia language is added advantage.
