Kenya School of Government (KSG) is a premier Training, Research and Consultancy Institute in Public Service. 

We are seeking suitable candidate to fill the position of: Principal Supply Chain Officer

Job Description:
To efficiently carry out management and administration of the Library Services/Learning and Resource Center with the aim of ensuring full and efficient provision and utilization of these services and facilities to the Institute customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review, design and manage procurement function to support the School mandate
  • Align the procurement function to support the Schools’ operations
  • Design and implement best practice supply chain management processes
  • Ensure compliance with the public procurement rules and regulations
  • Manage supply relationships for the mutual benefit of the school and suppliers
  • Develop and implement effective stores management
  • Managing the tendering process in accordance with the law
  • Any other job assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Must be a holder of bachelor’s degree in business administration, management and commerce
  • Holder of MBA, MSC (Proc.) is added advantage
  • Must be a member of KISM
  • Five years procurement experiences in a large organization
  • Must be computer literate
  • Process strong leadership and negotiation skills
