They
are seeking to recruit an ambitious, dynamic & innovative individual for
the role of Network Operations Centre Manager
who will report to the Engineering Manager.
The
Network Operation Centre Manager will be in charge of leading the NOC team to
monitor the infrastructure, troubleshoot and escalate problems as per laid out
processes and procedures.
Duties
and Responsibilities
- Management and budgeting of NOC for talent and physical resources.
- Overall in charge of ensuring and gathering all the necessary resources and escalations to ensure that there is 100% uptime on all systems and network.
- Evaluation of existing network monitoring tools, research and development on how these can be enhanced to serve the growing network.
- Management and scheduling of the NOC talent pool to ensure 24 x 7 x 365 days coverage.
- Performance management to ensure proper process is being followed.
- Ensuring timely detection, troubleshooting and resolution of faults on Infrastructure elements by NOC.
- Management and proactive use of all tools provided to ensure high availability and attainment of service levels.
- Monitor and manage SLA levels with vendors.
- Network and systems change process management.
- Management and maintenance of the Data center access.
- Failures scenario planning, exercises
- Redundancy testing
- Processes and procedures lay out
Minimum
Qualifications
- A degree in electronics engineering or telecommunications engineering
- 5 – 7 years work experience in telecommunications and video infrastructure
