A
Building and Construction firm wishes to recruit a qualified dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
This
position will be based in the Nairobi region.
Duties & Responsibilities include:

- Pricing and estimating contracts (including administration cost estimates)
- Tendering
- Quantity Take-Offs together with preparation of schedule materials
- Re-measurements
- Preparation of contractual claims (arising and interim valuations) and final accounts.
- Supervision of sub-contractors
- Liaise with clients, councils and consultants for contract issues
- Contracts administration
- Progress monitoring
- Adhere to all QSHE procedures, policies and instructions
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time
Minimum
Academic & Professional requirements:
- Applicant MUST be a holder of a Diploma in Building / Civil (Quantity Surveying)
- 2 to 3 years exp in the same capacity
- Registered by the Board of registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS)
- Computer literate and competent in MS Excel and MS Word, hands on experience in Auto Cad
- Analytical, Good Communication, and Teamwork Skills
