Associate Sales Manager – Kenya
Summary
of Position:
Sales
Manager is responsible for functions related to implementation of promoted product
marketing plans and strategies, field force activities, wholesaler management,
key customer contacts and achieving set sales budgets/targets in line with the
commercial outlines.
Core
responsibility:
Adhere
to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations
pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance,
human resources and any other regulations as required by the company, relevant
to the role and responsibilities of the function.
Field
force management for effectiveness and efficiency.
In
field coaching of professional sales representatives. KOL development,
achieving of customer contact targets and active product promotion/detailing,
implementation of marketing plans and strategies, countering competitor
strategies, provide marketing with required analysis and sales status reports,
implementation of cyclical strategies.
Research,
analyze, plan and recommend new business opportunities and strategies.
Achieve
sales/performance budgets and objectives and coordination of sales force
activities.
Qualification:
- Minimum,
Bachelors degree in biological sciences
- At
least 8 years experience in pharmaceutical sales in Kenya
- Ability
to work with team members of diverse background, with good communication
skills.
- Willing
to travel & work extensively within the country.
- Computer
literate with Microsoft office and good analytical skills.
