achieve that goal we need to push boundaries, to be creative with new and old
solutions and work flexibly, taking advantage of the most effective solutions
with communities, private sector, civil society and governments.
We
need an ambitious, flexible and expert Finance & Administration Manager to
ensure strong financial management within Farm Africa Kenya hub and across all
projects based in Kenya and South Sudan to help
support our plans.

The
post holder will be a key member of the Kenya/ South Sudan senior management
team helping to drive our strategy in both Kenya and South Sudan.
The
post holder will also be responsible for IT, HR & office administration.
We
are looking for a strong professional qualified accountant, with proven
experience in financial control and
management (minimum of five years).

You
should be comfortable with project accounting & reporting, producing
statutory accounts and managing the budgeting process.
You
will have some familiarity with SUNv5 and QuickBooks accounting package.
You
will be clear on the need for control and compliance, as well as the importance
of the finance team understanding what the numbers mean.
You
will identify and seek to resolve the diverse financial issues that can arise
within a complex, grant funded programme.
You
will have strong people management skills and be eager to help build the capacities
of others within your
team.

will have demonstrable experience of successfully balancing a number of
competing priorities.
You
will recognise the importance of frequent communication with all your
stakeholders throughout the Kenya / South Sudan programme and the wider Farm
Africa organisation.

role will entail substantial travel particularly to South Sudan

offered.
