for a top class individual to fill a vacant position in Finance Department.
Position:
Information Technology Manager
The
Job
Reports
to the Finance Director.
Key
Result Areas
- Control/Management
of ICT resources including staff to ensure round the clock availability of
the computing systems for users.
- Ensures
systems meet user needs and are in the company’s best interests.
- Evaluation
of proposed new systems to ensure the feasibility of the solution.
- End-users’
application system support.
- Implementation
and monitoring of Corporate/Group ICT strategy and policies to ensure
compliance.
- Managing
relationships with Software & Hardware vendors to ensure compliance
with service level contracts.
- Monitoring
of new technical developments to make sound observations / recommendations
to management.
The
Person
The
ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:-
- BSc
Computer Science/BSc Information Technology.
- 5
- 7 years relevant experience in the industry.
- Aged
between 30 – 35 years.
- Extensive
knowledge & experience in networking, AS/400, OS/400, Windows and SQL
databases.
- Continually
strives to improve the service provided to users.
- A
person who keeps abreast of developments in software systems and general
IT advances.
- Ability
to meet strict deadlines.
