Regional Sales Manager 
Summary
 
Our client is a global multinational Food & Beverage company, worldwide leader in most of its category portfolio.  
With global or local specific brands and products, the core focus is to meet the diverse needs and preferences of consumers all over the world. 

The main purpose of this role is to lead the Regional Sales Operations network i.e. direct/indirect and the Field Sales team to deliver agreed objectives within the assigned Region.

This position reports to the National Sales Manager

Responsibilities
  • Ensure achievement of agreed targets/KPIs by updating and measuring the performance of Field Sales organization structure within the region against defined KPI’s
  • Implement, follow up and update the Regional Field Sales Plan based on the cycle plan
  • Provide quality feedback/input into the Integrated Commercial Planning process for the next planning period
  • Actively participate within Integrated Commercial Planning Process, support definition of Field Sales Strategy to implement Channel Category and Customer Plans
  • Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies including local trade policy, local trade terms, safety and local regulations
  • Collaborate with peers Regional Sales Managers to share best practices within Field Sales, Distributor Management etc, liaise with Marketing, Customer team and Supply Chain drive regional field sales related initiatives
  • Ensure development of careers, succession plans, development of direct reports
Requirements
  • Degree in a Sales or marketing related field
  • Higher National Diploma in Sales and marketing
  • More than 5 years in Marketing or Sales, and over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs, especially top and bottom line business results
  • Leads regional field sale function
  • Understands all sales functions i.e. customer, field sales
  • Has demonstrated success in a number of diverse sales roles
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people
