A leading private company with expansion programmes in manufacturing food grade flexible packaging materials within Nairobi is seeking competent persons with proven track records to fill the positions of;
Extruders, Printers and Bag Making Quality Controllers / Supervisors
These are key positions which, in addition to other responsibilities, will include;
Receiving instructions for tasks to be performed in the respective departments,
Arranging and allocating work, authority and resources towards realization of departmental objectives. Offer guidance/training/assistance to those with difficulties in performing tasks assigned,
Guiding the operations within the departments to ensure that activities therein are consistent with set objectives and procedures by identifying steps at which controls are essential,
Performing inspections and testing of products and monitoring critical control points in accordance with the respective quality plans and documented procedures.
Handling non-conforming products and ensuring that they are not mixed with conforming products or used / permitted for unintended purpose.
Maintaining monitoring and inspection records as per monitoring, measurements & inspections, as well as hygiene and housekeeping procedures.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
A degree or Diploma from any recognized institution, preferably in Science /printing technology or Diploma in a related field with over 5 years practical experience as a Quality Controller or Supervisor.
Any Experience working in a printing or flexible packaging materials manufacturing company within Nairobi and practical experience operating Bag Making, Extruder, or Printing Machines will be an added advantage.
