Baseline Survey and Gap Analysis for Smallholder Farmers
TechnoServe works with enterprising people in the developing world to build competitive farms, businesses and industries. We are a nonprofit organization that develops business solutions to poverty by linking people to information, capital and markets.
Our work is rooted in the idea that given the opportunity, hardworking men and women in even the poorest places can generate income, jobs and wealth for their families and communities.
The organization invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible firms/individuals to carry out a Baseline Study and Gap Analysis that will inform implementation design in a pilot program working towards enhancing smallholder farmer’s livelihoods through training and extension support under maize, horticulture and dairy value chains.
The consultancy work will cover four Counties namely: Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Trans-Nzoia and Nandi.
The Baseline Study and Gap Analysis will also generate information on the program performance indicators as stated in the program monitoring and evaluation framework. These baseline values will be the basis for comparison with the information gathered periodically during and after project implementation.
