CDC Foundation is a partner of mHealth Kenya, a Limited Company that was formed to provide the much needed linkage between Private Entities and Public Entities in the area of Health Service provision.

CDC Foundation in partnership with mHealth Kenya seeks a mHealth seeks a qualified professional to fill the position of the Impact Evaluation Consultant responsible for monitoring program activities and identify results and impact of the program.
This will be an 8 month consultancy whose renewal is based on individual performance and availability of funds.
Role Purpose: The Impact Evaluation Consultant, reporting to the CDC Foundation mHealth Kenya Country Director, will work according to the mHealth Kenya framework with the focal responsibility of representing mHealth Kenya in technical matters surrounding in-country health information systems solutions development.
Major duties will be to assist in evaluating the performance of the mHealth programs and taking the lead on working with clients and stakeholders to design feasible evaluation approaches, assist in developing sampling strategies, design data collection instruments, assist in the data collection, analyse data, write reports and present findings.
The individual will also contribute in identification and concept development for Public Private Partnership opportunities.
This individual will serve as a full time consultant of the mHealth Kenya Public Private Partnership, an initiative of the CDC Foundation.
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Public Health;
- 2 Years’ Experience in implementation and evaluation of development activities
- Training in statistics and program evaluation a plus
- Team player;
- Willingness to develop professionally and learn new things
- Familiarity with system development.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications;
- Strong command of English.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, including in applied research and impact evaluation.
- Expertise in results measurement methodologies applied to public private sector interventions.
This should include familiarity with designing results frameworks and evaluating development results, including experience in practical implementation of experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations of public private sector development projects.
