The Geothermal Development Company (GDC) is a 100% state-owned company with the mandate to fast track development of geothermal resources.
To achieve its objectives, GDC is seeking to recruit suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated staff to support the development of steam equivalent to 5000 MW in the next 16 years.
The ideal candidates should be aged 35 years and below.
Business Process Analyst (BPA)
Reporting to the Chief Officer, Business Process Improvement, the BPA will be responsible for improvement of business processes for operational efficiency.Specific Tasks
- Reviewing processes and systems to ensure efficient service delivery;
- Work across various functions to ensure processes and procedures support optimal operational efficiency; and
- Be an advocate for business process analysis as an effective tool for improving the bottom line
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, Economics or any other relevant degree;
- Six (6) years working experience - three (3) of which should be in Business Process Improvement, analysis and mapping;
- Experience with standard business process analysis methodologies and tools;
- Experience in a production environment, project development or oil and gas field industry strongly desired; and
- Proficiency in analytical packages and MS-Project is required.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to effectively lead teams; and
- Strong analytical skills – able to define problems, collect, analyze data, draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations for business process improvement.
Corporate Performance Officer (CPO)
Reporting to the Chief Officer, People Performance, the CPO will be required to offer advisory services necessary to drive people performance and align the entire organization in pursuit of performance excellence.
Specific Tasks
- Initiating and executing robust programs to drive people performance in the various functions of the Company;
- Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) for various performance targets;
- Quality checks on performance monitoring and evaluation; and
- Undertake corporate surveys & assessments for continual improvement;
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant Social Science degree with a Diploma/Masters in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior/Development or Psychology ;
- Eight (8) years working experience - three (3) of which should be in Performance, Human Resource or Change Management;
- Experience in a production environment, project development or oil and gas field industry strongly desired;
- Proficiency in advanced MS-Excel and access will be an added advantage
