The National Museums of Kenya Call for Artworks for JKIA Terminal 4

Call for Artworks

The National Museums of Kenya invites tenders from interested and competent Artists to create five (5) original artworks for public displays in the newly constructed Terminal Four (4) at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The Art Installation includes the following:

1. Glass and Tile Mosaics.
2. African Masks Artwork.
3. Sculptural Artworks in wood and other materials.

Eligible artists may obtain detailed tender documents from the Head of Procurement Office at NMK Headquarters, Museum Hill Road between 9.00 a.m – 4.30 p.m upon payment of non-refundable fee of Ksh.1,000 for each set of Tender document. 

This amount is payable in cash or Bankers cheque at the Cash Office. 

Duly completed Tender documents should be submitted in a Plain sealed envelope with the tender name and reference number clearly marked and addressed to:

and deposited in the Tender Box located a the Louise Leakey Building reception area on 18th March, 2014 by 12.00 p.m.

Bids shall be opened soon after closing at the Old Board Room in the presence of artists who choose to attend.
