Function: Sale & Marketing
Reporting to: General Manager / Director- Sales & MarketingRole: Plan, direct and monitor the activities for sales & marketing within the assigned territory to achieve established targets.
Profile: Graduate / Post Graduate with at least 5 years of Sales Experience in Sales and Distribution in an alcohol industry/FMCG/Consumer Durables etc.(Liquor sales experience would be preferable)
Key Result Areas:
- Manage the day-to-day activities in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy for an assigned region.
- Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for the region.
- Handle sales support activities such as sales administration, customer service, distribution, invoicing, and credit and collections to ensure that customer orders are processed, dispatched, invoiced, and paid accurately and on time.
- Coach sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization’s products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures, and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.
- Work with local & national distributors to negotiate and set prices of product & services.
- Attend on-premise promotional events on behalf of the company.
- To create and maintain an organized list of key territory accounts, including on and off premise accounts.
- To create new accounts/distributors on regular basis.
