Williamson Power Limited Engineer Job in Kenya

A Technical vacancy has arisen at our company, Williamson Power Ltd, a well-established company dealing primarily with generator sales and service. 

Purpose: Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Job holder will be responsible for translating Clients problems into service solutions, planning work schedules and offering technical service. 

He/she will be responsible for maintenance and installation of machinery. 

In addition, he/she will be responsible for the preparation of sales quotations and assisting the Technical Manager in sales negotiations.

Key Responsibilities
 

The job holder will carry the following amongst other duties:
 

1. Execute preventive maintenance and attend to breakdowns, servicing, repairing and emergency requests relating to Clients generators.
 

2. Assist Technical Manager in completing and testing projects to meet deadlines
 

3. Scheduling of service interventions - coordinate the service technicians work schedules in order to maximize efficiency and minimize work in progress hours.
 

4. Liaison person between Company and potential clients in sales and tendering.
 

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering – power option with mechanical background.
• Knowledge of Diesel Generators
• Computer literate - Knowledge of Microsoft office, Auto/ARCHCAD an added advantage
• Ability to build strong and effective work relationships with customers and colleagues and be able to work independently and meet deadlines within a team environment.
• Structured, good planning and organizing skills
• Willingness to work extra hours to meet set targets.
