Plantation Agronomist Job in Nairobi Kenya (680K - 850K)

Our client, an Agricultural company based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit an Agronomist - East Africa. 

The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience working on a plantation or with a plantation management company.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform crop surveys in East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda) in coordination with coffee platform research.
• Support the set-up of sustainable supply chain including direct sourcing/traceability initiatives and certification.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years experience in plantation management.
• Must have a Bachelors Degree in Agronomy, Plant Sciences, Natural Resources Management or related field.
• A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• Must have experience working in East Africa.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years in senior management.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Possess good analytical and observational skills.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 680,000 - 850,000/= (Approx. 8,000 - 10,000 USD) depending on experience
