We are seeking a visionary, self-driven Chief Executive Officer for this hands-on role to lead a small team to achieve this mandate.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day running of the organization based on the organization’s policy
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic plan
- Provide strategic direction for the organization
- Ensure that organization is consistently and positively presented to relevant stakeholders
- Act as a liaison between the organization and the internet community, building relationships with peer organizations where appropriate
- Act as spokesperson for the organization in local and international forums
- Coordinate the development of mechanisms and strategies for operation and promotion of the organization’s products and services
- Ensure the financial well being of the organization and ensure that the organization adheres to statutory obligations
- Prepare and present reports and Board papers to the Board of Directors
- Lead, inspire and motivate the organization’s staff
- Coordinate training and development of staff
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Board of Directors
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
- A Masters degree in a relevant discipline
- At least five (5) years experience in the Internet and/or telecommunications industry
- Essential CEO skills including: leadership, strategic planning, financial management, coaching, administrative, negotiation and marketing;
- An ability to prepare and analyze business plans, financial forecasts, feasibility studies etc. for presentation to boards of directors, potential business partners and stakeholders;
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated tact and diplomacy as well as sound judgment and decision making skills;
- The ability to formulate and execute major policies, programs and objectives to promote and ensure accountability, transparency and the organization’s sustainability and profitability.
