Commonwealth Scholarships Tenable in Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa, South Pacific and Tanzania

The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom is offering scholarships for Kenyan students;

1. One (1) full scholarships for a two (2 ) year part-time Masters degree at the University of Mauritius in Mauritius

2. One (1) full scholarships for a three (3) months fellowship at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria

3. Two (2) and one (1) University of Pretoria in South Africa Doctoral (3 year) and Postdoctoral (2 years) Scholarships respectively. Those already registered for postgraduate work at the University are ineligible

4. One (1) full scholarships for a two (2) years Master's degree at the University of South Pacific in South Pacific

5. One (1) full scholarships for a one (1) or two (2) years Master's degree at the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Should hold bachelor's degree of at least upper second class honors level.
• For PhD applicants they must have a very good Master's Degree.
• Are serving the country in the public sector
• Are below 35 years for masters and 45 years for PhD

Application Procedure

Preliminary application forms are obtainable from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology offices at Telposta Towers, 27th floor room 2702.

The application forms can also be downloaded from the Ministry's website: www.scienceandtechnology.go.ke.

Candidates should submit their application forms through their heads of departments.

Completed application forms with attached certified photocopies of ID, academic/professional certificates, transcripts, Birth Certificate, other testimonials and a proposal in the area of study should be sent to:
