Role Purpose
  • Business Analysis Demand & Operational Planning Manager plays the integral role in advancing the reporting and analytics for internal organizations as well as external clients.
  • The Business Intelligence Analyst professionals will be key drivers to the successful deployment of BI solutions that are reliable, secure and meet customer requirements.
  • Responsible for Business Analysis of Data Warehousing, Tariff, ensure that the commercial staff are provided with appropriate reports, analysis, knowledge, skills and clear information.
Key Responsibilities

1. Responsibilities/Execution activities

1.1. Financial Management , Budget Monitoring, Forecasting and Reporting

% of work time: 50
  • Facilitates communication between developers and business users to ensure that customer requirements are correctly translated, documented and developed to appropriate reporting design specifications
  • Responsible for analyzing, planning and developing, configuring the reporting solutions to ensure that it is in line with business requirements
  • Works with business users to optimize information and analytic usage to ensure reporting developed is focused on providing users with quick and actionable intelligence
  • Ensures that reporting developed follows prescribed development life cycle and meet all quality standards
  • Functions as a technical expert in the design, development and debugging of dashboard and reporting
  • Develops test cases and plans, and assists with report testing
  • Design and build Reports using Business Objects and SSRS
  • Configure all BI web parts using Sharepoint
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve reporting and analytics both internally and for external clients
  • Driving the standardization of reports leveraging business process and data knowledge
  • Monitors the deployment of all agreed Products and services.
  • Ensure internal collaboration, team work development and implementation of key Management routines within the team
  • Ensuring appropriate feedback is given to enhance business understanding and monitor performance
1.2. Budget Analysis- Acquisition Targets and Revenue Growth

% of work time: 45
  • Monitor the Achievement of set Monthly, Quarterly, Semi Annually or Annual Marketing targets
  • Monitor and analyze the outcome of strategies (including Tariffs) for significantly increasing revenues and traffic through the greater use of existing products and the take up of new products:
  1. Account/Subscriber acquisition/connection
  2. Usage & Retention
  3. Revenue growth
  • Participate in regular review of overall revenue generation status, identifying deviations from forecast, and implementing measures to rectify/adjust spend relative to forecast, sectional marketing & sales strategy and the marketing strategies of customers/partners.
1.3. Relationship Management

% of work time: 5
  • Build high-level relationships with Finance, Mass Marketing, Support Services, Business Marketing by giving them timely reports
  • Monitor the documentation and implementation of updated processes current to three months
  • Ensure that Reports and analysis of the same are issued on a timely basis as per the agreed regularity through liaison with all relevant parties.
  • Work with Principles within the department to advise of issues in their given sections especially where there are shortfalls etc.
Education Background & Experience:
  • BCom/BS degree in business / marketing or a finance discipline
  • 2-4 years of hands on experience in Marketing planning Management and /or Market Intelligence & Research
Functional qualifications:
  • strong product planning management, project & program development
Professional Knowledge & skills:
  • Strong Business Acumen/Analytical Skills, complex pricing structures/frameworks
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication / presentation skills (oral & written)
  • Proficiency in Computer packages (e.g. MS Office…)

He/She must have the ability to understand in depth Industry / solution and services requirements and think holistically and yet focus on specific areas as necessary (e.g. leadership, problem solving, initiative, results orientation....)
