Accounts Manager Job in Kenya

Job Position: Accounts Manager

Location: Nairobi

A leading financial services firm specializing in audit, tax, Business Process Outsourcing and Financial Consultancy wishes to recruit a Accounts Manager.

The successful candidate will be expected to support the accounting department operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• In-charge of Accounting Department and Customer Relationship Management
• Responsible for growth (revenues) of the accounts
• Present and manage the implementation of the detailed work plans created for new Programs.
• Communicate and recommend improvements/solutions to key decisions and issues related to business operations
• Managing the activities of the department including work in progress
• Ensuring quality of work done and review of accounts and work done by the team
• Ensuring budgets for each client
• Giving advice / problem solving and specialist opinions
• Ensuring fees collection
• Undertake special assignments as specified by Director Consultancy.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be bestowed upon by the Management from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA (K)
• 6+ years experience in Account/project management experience
• Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships
• Extremely detail oriented
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Handles stressful situations and deadlines pressures well
• Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
• Must have basic computer skills ie MS Word and MS Excel.
• Positive and pleasant personality.
